Conformation Ring

Specials to watch for this fall and winter include Scout, CH Deep River’s Bow and Arrow; Valerie, CH Deep River’s Shock Value; & Bonnie, CH Deep River’s Easter Bonnet.

Performance
We are so very proud of all of the wonderful performance collies past and present whose owners have worked with them to earn titles in Herding, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking and Fly Ball.  So far this year, Deep River bred collies have earned 12 obedience and/or rally titles and 10 herding test and trial titles.

Currently training in performance at Deep River are Wiggy & Joy.  Wiggy is presently training for her CDX and her TD and will be out this fall to try for her last Q to earn her herding started duck title HSAsd.  Joy is currently in training for novice agility, her rally titles and her CD.  She will also be out this fall to try for two more Qs on her advanced sheep title to earn her HXAs, and will be looking for 2 more Qs on her Started Ducks to move into intermediate or advanced ducks.

Highlights in performance so far in 2007 include CD’s on both Wiggy – CH Bo-Dandy’s Itsawig CD, RE, HSAs, RLF1, HRD1, HTAD1 and on Flash – CH Bo-Dandy Surfside Shock Wave CD (Kim Bailey) both with scores in the 190s and placements on all legs. Flash is a litter brother to Valerie – CH Deep River’s Shock Value. Rally Advanced Excellent titles include Rowan – NATCH CH Deep River Karizma Rowan UD, RAE, MX, MXJ, HSAs and on Sunny-Deep River’s Sundance Kid CD, RAE (Bob Jones).  CH Deep River’s Comfort and Joy HIAs, RLF1, HRD2 earned her final Intermediate sheep Q with a first place at the national and her first Advanced Q the following weekend.  Joy also earned an AHBA High in Trial and Reserve High in Trial.  Joy and Wiggy were the first two collies in the USA to earn their AHBA large flock ranch dog titles – offered as a new class beginning in January 2007.
